應該很多人都有聽過這個團體的歌，即使你不知道原來那是他們的歌。
那就是If。

我之前有一篇簡單提過這首歌的歌詞，有興趣的話可以配著音樂看看。


我很喜歡主唱David Gates的聲音，很輕柔很舒服。
(ps: 聽到這樣子的聲音，不知道大家對David Gates想像長的樣子是什麼?
不過他們現在都很老了。先不要偷看哦，試著想像一下。
預計下一篇會分享另一首我很喜歡的David Gates的歌，再揭曉答案，嘿嘿。)

所以我又陸續找了他們相關的歌，其實Bread一開始最先紅的是Make it with you。
有興趣的人可以點去聽看看，應該也有聽過副歌部份。
之後才是If。
但今天我想介紹的是另一首歌，Diary。
一開始聽到這首歌時還是覺得主唱的聲音好喜歡啊~ >///<
不過仔細看了歌詞才知道，這首跟If訴說的是截然不同的心情。
如果If是懷抱著愛與希望的少女小說，那麼Diary就是充滿愛與絕望的鄉土連續劇。


一開始男子輕描淡寫的提到在一棵樹下發現妻子的日記，
但翻閱了之後(偷看別人日記是不好的行為哦，小朋友不要學)才發現，
自己不是妻子的true love，
因此只能將自己的愛化為祝福，希望深愛的她能與另一個他幸福。


歌詞不難，我試著將它翻譯，為了通順，有增加一點點字，沒有照字翻。
但還是有點怪怪的，有興趣的話可以一起討論看怎麼翻會更好。 :)
